Presentation Certificate

Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 55, is commonly known as the "Eroica Symphony." Originally intended as a tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte, whom Beethoven admired for championing liberty, the composer later withdrew this dedication upon learning that Napoleon had declared himself Emperor.

"Liebesträume" No. 3 in A-flat major, S.541-3, is a solo piano piece composed by the Hungarian pianist and composer Franz Liszt (1811-1886). Originally written as lieder (art songs), Liszt later arranged the three pieces for piano when he was 39 years old, giving them the subtitle "Three Notturnos."

Did you know ?

In Liszt's time, there were no idols or character goods, However, Liszt, a tall and handsome virtuoso pianist capable of producing world-class, sometimes intense and sometimes sweet melodies, captivated the hearts of noblewomen of that era. Capitalizing on this, a chocolate company began selling chocolates featuring Liszt's portrait, turning it into an instant hit. Liszt became the main character in a series of products, showcasing the influence he had on the chocolate market.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed a total of 626 works, showcasing his prodigious talent. Despite a short life, he only lived to the age of 35, Mozart had already created three operas, six symphonies, and hundreds of other compositions by the age of 12. His genius not only impressed his contemporaries but continues to evoke admiration for his astonishing compositions to this day.

Mendelssohn's Rondo Capriccioso, likely composed when he was around 20, gained its final form with the later addition of the Andante section. Renowned for his early talent, Mendelssohn, just a year older than Chopin and Schumann and two years older than Liszt, presented compositions marked by classical elegance rather than the intense romanticism of his contemporaries. His works feature well-balanced structures and sweet melodies, embodying harmonious beauty.

Merry Christmas
